Product Overview NFPA 701 is the Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films. Based on fabric weight, the standard is divided into Method 1 and Method 2. This Flame Propagation Tester is manufactured in accordance with NFPA 701 Method 2 as specified by the US Fire Department. It is suitable for testing single or multiple layers of fabric panels weighing more than 700 g/m² (21 oz/yd²), as well as polyethylene-coated fabrics and similar materials.
